Affordable Housing Development
Ms. Hardee represents nonprofits, housing authorities, and for-profit entities in the development of multifamily housing for low and moderate income families. This work includes representation of clients in obtaining zoning and land use permits, special permits, and permits pursuant to General Laws c. 40B. Typical projects also include closing of acquisition and predevelopment financing and assistance through construction, permanent financing, rent-up and cost certification.
Affordable Housing Finance
The firm assists institututional lenders, banks, quasi-governmental and governmental agencies and departments in financing affordable housing projects for low income individuals, seniors and families throughout Massachusetts.
Real Estate Litigation
Ms. Hardee is engaged in real estate litigation matters in all courts in the state including Superior Court, Land Court, Housing Court and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. These cases include post-foreclosure litigation, landlord-tenant matters, disputes over title, appeals of land use permits and environmental litigation.
